ENERGY WORLD QATAR was the first event of its kind in Qatar. As
part of Qatar Shell’s CSR initiative this program was a pilot project to
test the market and its reception of this type of educational event.
The event focuses on the promotion of STEM subjects, and through
its school out reach the goal was to influence students to enroll in the
STEM subjects as their post secondary studies.

SDImktg was responsible for the school out reach program, overdelivering
the target by 40% reaching and inviting 7000 students to
attend the event during its dedicated school mornings. SDI also
recruited and trained over 100 staff that the event production needed
to run its activities and interactive stations. The management of the
social media and its strategy was also apart of SDI’s scope reaching
over 1 million impressions across the different platforms.
